The Rise of the Bell Sleeve

Happy Thursday loves!

I know the 70’s trend has been around for a few years now but the rise of the bell sleeve has to be the biggest trend to come back from that decade by far! I haven’t been a fan of many of the trends that have come from this era, e.g. the denim flares or the bell bottoms (not for me thanks!).

This is the first trend in a long time that I’ve been completely obsessed with (not to mention how insanely instagrammable it is). There’s definitely no shortage of bell sleeve items on the high-street, they come in all colours, shapes and sizes and even in tops and dresses.

The one I’m wearing today is from an old favourite store I recently re-discovered, Jane Norman. It has beautiful lace panelling on both sleeves (I’m a sucker for anything with lace) and double-layered flared bell sleeves to add even more oomph! Get yours here for just £21 whilst stocks last! I kept it simple by pairing it with my classic black skinny jeans, red soles and classic Givenchy bag, perfect for evenings out.
