Happy Thursday everyone!
No matter how tempting it is, you can’t deny that Christmas is around the corner and is creeping up on us extremely fast. So today I thought I’d share a few beauty products I think will be great for any women in your life, including yourself of course.
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics
Probably one of the most iconic eye-shadow palette’s in history. If you’re a make-up fiend like myself, you’ll most probably own at least one of the infamous Urban Decay Naked palettes. I’ve been collecting these palettes for so many years now, ever since I fell in love with Naked One. There’re always my go-to palettes for a simple day-time look so when I received their latest addition to the line, the Ultimate Basics palette, I was thrilled! Firstly the packaging is stunning! A rose-gold embossed palette, it almost looks like a ray of sunlight. The palette comes complete with 12 matte colours, a large mirror and a dual-ended eye-shadow brush. I can tell this is quickly going to become my favourite go-to palette this autumn/winter. If you’re after some good quality neutral eye-shadow colours, this is definitely a palette worth adding to your wish list. Retails for £38.50.
Urban Decay Full Spectrum
Admittedly I have never tried any other products except the Naked palettes from Urban decay so I was very excited to give this bad boy a try. Once again I need to address the fabulous packaging, the sleek black palette is engraved with a colourful, rainbow embossed logo making it so eye-catching. The palette comes complete with 21, yes 21 eye-shadows, a large mirror and a dual-ended eye-shadow brush. All 21 colours are bold, bright, flamboyant and shimmery making it perfect for the spring/summer season. I actually think this palette would be perfect for professional make-up artists as it has a great selection of fun colours to create some cool designs. As for me I think I’ll be reaching for the Full Spectrum palette during the festive season, especially on Christmas day! Bare in mind that this is a limited edition palette so once it’s gone it’s gone, add it to your Christmas wish list before it sells out! Retails for £43.
Bourjois Le Nudes & Le Smokey
Two of the cutest eye-shadow palettes to add to your wish list this season. Bourjois have recently released a collection of mini eye-shadow palettes, a nude palette for the day and a smokey palette for the night. Both palettes come complete with 8 shimmer eye-shadows, a panoramic mirror and a brush applicator. The designs of the palettes are quite playful and young, definitely not palettes I would usually purchase myself, however I do think they would make great stocking fillers. Especially for a young teenager/woman who has recently discovered make-up. The price point is nice and affordable, starting from £8.99 and could potentially be one to add to your wish list this Christmas.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these eye-shadow palettes or if you would add any of them to your Christmas wish list?
