Happy Monday loves!
I realise I’ve been slacking with outfit posts over the past few weeks and I know this is your favourite type of content to read so please forgive me. The problem is a) I receive so much blogger mail to review and although I’m in no way obliged to review anything I receive, however I do like to share the hidden gems I discover with you guys. b) I’ve been trying to up my Instagram game, which has been taking up the majority of my time, it’s almost like managing two separate blogs. Anyway enough excuses, my outfit posts are back now and a new one will be uploaded weekly.
If there’s one two trends I’ve fallen in love with since becoming a blogger, it’s the nude and lace-up trend. As I’ve said previously, the nude trend can be tricky to nail if you’re skin tone doesn’t fall under the generic ‘nude’, however I think I’ve finally nailed a good few nude basics in my wardrobe, including this gorgeous midi skirt from Zara purchased two years ago and of course my fabulous nude Loubs! No words needed for that one!
I’ve always been a little uncertain about the lace-up trend, I mean lace-up flat shoes are great and comfortable, however lace-up tops, knitwear, dresses? Surely you must have a voluptuous bust to pull this off? Well I was pleasantly surprised to realise no you don’t! The lace-up trend looks perfect regardless what cup size you are and I definitely love how it looks on me. So I’ll surely be adding more to my shopping basket very soon.
What are your thoughts on the nude and lace-up trends?
