Happy Friday loves!
If you’ve been reading Duchess of Fashion for a while, you’ll realise just how much I love Crabtree and Evelyn. It’s a true traditional British brand, a brand I grew up around when my mum and grandma would always use their products. I’ve definitely fallen in love with the brand a lot more this year, there’s barely a day that goes by that I’m not wearing their lavender perfume or applying one of their fabulous hand therapy moisturisers on my hands.
Launched last weekend, this latest collection from the brand is all about nourishment and comfort, definitely a collection to pick up for autumn. The goat milk collection includes nourishing oat kernel, soothing bisabalol, softening allantoin and skin-conditioning vitamin E, making it perfect for sensitive skin! The collection consists of 7 products and today I’ll be reviewing 3 of them, the bath milk, the body milk and the hand therapy.
Comforting Bath Milk
There’s nothing I love more than relaxing in the bathtub after a long, hard, stressful day at work so when I saw this product I instantly fell in love. The packaging is heavyweight and luxurious in a glass container, perfect for displaying in your bathroom. The product itself is so indulgent; the milk is creamy, soft and leaves your entire bath smelling of lavender. Get yours now for £28.
Comforting Body Milk
This is probably my least favourite product of the collection, simply because when it comes to body moisturisers I expect thick, dense, luxurious textures. This formula is far too lightweight to be applied on my body. I applied it once after having a bath and quite frankly it didn’t make the cut. Although it’s enriched with shea butter unfortunately it left my skin feeling dry and dehydrated. I prefer using this as hand cream now. It’s useful to bare in mind that this collection does include a comforting body cream, which I assume is similar to a body butter so it might be worth investing in this product instead. Comforting Hand Therapy
I absolutely love this product, I currently keep it in my bathroom to use after I wash my hands. It’s very similar to the body milk, a lightweight, delicate formula, which is perfect for hand moisturisers. I love the application, I’m definitely a sucker for pump applicators, it’s easy and fuss-free. This product is perfect for keeping your hands soft and smooth as it’s enriched with goat’s milk and vitamin E. Get yours now for £15.
