Happy Friday loves!
Day three was by far my favourite day of fashion week! It was short, sweet and I was surrounded by a lot of great company. Admittedly the day didn’t start well as I was running behind schedule (typical me) and arrived at my first show late. I even had a priority ticket, however because I arrived so late I was banished to the back row.
I think I enjoyed day three so much because it wasn’t filled with back-to-back shows. Instead the day was broken up with presentations, lounges and even cupcake decorating! Day three taught me in order to enjoy fashion week, you have to participate in various activities. A good combination of shows, presentations and blogger lounges for some relaxation is a good mix and always remember to eat and drink regularly throughout the day.
This was probably my second favourite outfit I wore during fashion week. I loved the simplicity of the entire outfit and the chic accessories added the final touch. I was fairly glammed up on most days so day three was very refreshing to be casual. The black shirt was made of satin (very delicate) and had rectangular jewels placed all over the fabric. I tucked it into a very short powder pink textured skirt (one wrong turn and my underwear would have been the centre of attention during fashion week). I received so many compliments on the skirt in particular (the highlight of the outfit) and paired it with my fabulous Gucci loafers and Mulberry Lily.
Once again this outfit was handmade by G Hasanova, a talented emerging designer based in London, who specialises in luxury, handmade, bespoke pieces, tailor made just for you.

My day began with Apu Jan (the show I was late for), this was the first show I’ve seen with a live band performing. The music was so beautiful and gave the show a personal touch. The outfits were fairly basic (in the best possible way) meaning they were actually wearable and the colours were quite dark and tame, making them perfect for formal occasions.
Funny story – during my first ever season of fashion week I only received invitations for Presentations and quite frankly they were so boring I decided not to attend any presentations this season. I got invited to this Malone Souliers presentation with absolutely no intention of going, however I stumbled upon it as I was searching for the Lookfantasic lounge and that was probably the best mistake of the day! Not only was this presentation at a great location (Soho square), the collection of shoes were colourful, chic and fabulous! They had a good mix of high heels and comfortable flats, catering for everyone. Best of all I bumped into my all time favourite blogger – Pardon my Obsession! If you’ve been a loyal reader of my blog, you will know how much I go on about her and how obsessed I am with her style! It was truly a dream come true to finally meet her and discuss all things fashion with her!
I ended my day at the Lookfantastic lounge, I headed there in the afternoon to participate in the cupcake decorating session. It might sound silly to you but this is actually what you need during fashion week, a few light-hearted activities to take your mind off the hustle and bustle. I learnt how to pipe icing and how to craft sugar paste into shapes. It was such a fun, relaxing afternoon and as time passed by it began to get filled with bloggers. As I was waiting to receive my goodie bag, I ran into one of my favourite bloggers – Fashion Mumblr. She was such a sweetheart and we discussed fashion week and her recent trip abroad.
I had further shows to attend in the evening but truth be told, by day three I was completely shattered so I decided to call it a day and travelled home early. It was so refreshing because not only did I arrive home early for Sunday dinner; it gave me enough time to edit my YouTube video in the evening. As fun as fashion week is, you have to allow yourself enough time to write up your coverage to keep on top of your workload.
Stay tuned for my final fashion week instalment on Monday.
