Happy Wednesday guys!
I was recently lucky enough to receive a selection of products from the new Clarins autumn/winter 2016 collection. If you follow me on Instagram (@duchessoffashion_) you may have already seen my first impressions of these products over on my Insta story, however I thought I would give you a full in depth review of each product here on my blog.
Clarins BB Skin Detox Fluid
In general I’m not the biggest fan of BB creams, simply because they never come in a large variety of shades, which couldn’t be more true with the new Clarins BB Skin Detox Fluid. This base comes in 4 shades and I happen to have the darkest shade (dark), which actually isn’t dark at all. I’d say if you have medium tone skin (Asian skin) this will probably be perfect on you, however for all my sisters out there, this product just isn’t for us. This BB cream contains an exclusive anti- pollution complex, meaning it’s perfect if you live in a congested city like London. The BB Skin Detox Fluid retails for £30.00.
Clarins Eyeshadow Palettes
I don’t think I own such a luxurious selection of eyeshadow palettes! The packaging instantly captured my attention with its individual velour pouches and light gold palettes. There are 4 palettes in total and I’m reviewing 2 of them today – Rosewood and Oud. Both palettes have a beautiful selection of autumnal shades, all shimmery shades with a nice assortment of highlight, lid and crease shades. I’ve been reaching for Rosewood the most as it’s perfect to wear during the daytime. Each palette retails for £34.00.
Clarins Supra Mascara
Once again the first thing that caught my eye was the amazing packaging! The glossy gold tube adds a little sass to the product. Usually I never gravitate towards volumizing mascaras, I’m definitely a lengthening type of gal! The brush applicator is incredibly thick and wide with natural fibre’s, therefore it took a little time to get used to. The best thing about this mascara is that it contains volume boost complex, which gives your lashes a fuller look after one month. Not only does it help to thicken your lashes but it also adds length too, which is a must for me! It’s available in black and brown and retails for £21.50.
Let me know which products appeal to you the most!
