Happy Wednesday loves!
You may or may not know that I’m obsessed with nail care. Despite never discussing nail care on my blog, I’m always on the hunt for new nail care brands and treatments. Thankfully I’ve always had strong, healthy nails so I’ve never had to rely on acrylics or gel nail treatments. Recently I’ve discovered a new brand called Nailed London, a new British brand designed by Made in Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue.
Inspired by Rosie’s desire to find top quality nail lacquer in fun, trend-led shades, Nailed London comprises a range of glossy, versatile hues and glittery topcoats allowing you to mix-and-match your mani as you please. I got my hands on the base coat, top coat, Noodle Nude and Rosie Cheeks. My favourite colour is definitely Rosie Cheeks, a bright pop of fuschia pink for summer, which really complimented my skintone. Noodle Nude disappointed me a little as the name suggested the colour would be a true nude but it’s actually a pale grey.
The collection comes in an extensive colour range (28 to be precise) making it suitable for all skintones. The bottles are designed well, meaning it’s simple and easy to access. The formula is thick and opaque meaning you could even get away with one coat (but I like to apply 2 coats for full coverage). The scent isn’t overly strong or overpowering, which is great and best of all the collection is very affordable despite being a high-end luxury product (£7 each).
The brush applicator is way too thick and dense. I found it difficult to evenly apply the colour on each nail due to the density of the brush. When you dip the brush into the bottle, the colour does not evenly spread across the brush, leaving the brush patchy and uneven.
Nailed London is available in 28 shades, retails for £7.00 each and is sold in Harvey Nichols and FeelUnique.
