Happy Friday loves!
I whole-heartedly admit that I’m a complete amateur when it comes to skincare. My skincare routine has been pretty basic ever since my teens. Fortunately I’ve never suffered from problem skin so soap, water and a moisturiser is all I’ve ever really needed. However recently, since the introduction of beauty on my blog, I’ve become obsessed with face masks. Seriously how have I lived without them for so long!
So when Origins sent me two new products aimed at detoxing your skin, I was thrilled to say the least. If you know me in real life, you’ll know that I live anything but a healthy lifestyle. I don’t exercise, I don’t eat healthy food, I often feel like I’m too busy to focus on leading a healthy lifestyle. But then it occurred to me, even if you don’t actively workout, you can still use healthy products in your daily/weekly routine to implement nutritious goods into your lifestyle.
Skin-Optimising Mask Primer
The first step I take is to lightly spray my face with the new Maskimizer, a primer that prepares your skin for the By All Greens mask infused with marine algae complex. Priming your skin before application allows your skin to absorb the product a lot easier.
By All Greens Cleansing Mask
After priming my skin, I use By All Greens to revitalise my skin. A detoxing foam mask infused with green tea, spirulina and spinach. The green substance flows generously out of the bottle onto your hands so be careful not to apply too much. It starts out as a green clay consistency on the skin and then slowly turns into a white foam as it begins to dry. After a few minutes, I rinse off the mask with warm water and my skin instantly feels fresh and radiant.
I’ve begun using these products every weekend as a little skincare pamper session. If you’re looking to add a new mask to your skincare collection, I would highly recommend these two products by Origins.
