Happy Wednesday loves!
I’m not quite sure where to start with this post….the fact that I’m completely and utterly flat chested or the fact that underwear is literally the most difficult clothing item to photograph without looking ridiculously provocative!
Let’s start with the second fact (and ignore the first fact). I wouldn’t describe myself as an underwear type of girl (and by that I don’t mean I walk the streets commando) I simply mean I’ve never been too fussed when it comes to underwear. I’ve never invested in expensive or seductive underwear before (a £5 bra from Primark usually does the trick) but perhaps as I’m getting older I should? My motto has always been, if nobody see’s it, then who cares? But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Investing in good-quality underwear shouldn’t be for your partner, it should be for yourself and trust me it’s amazing how it can instantly transform an outfit. In-fact underwear in general can be worn as outerwear or simply as a statement piece it’s purely a matter of experimentation.
I’ve recently discovered a new lingerie brand called Atelier Amour and I couldn’t be anymore obsessed (plus you guys know how much I adore French brands) the variety of styles they offer are a mix between casual sexy and erotic ranging from bra’s, knickers and bodysuits, a perfect addition to any woman’s wardrobe! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, lace is my absolute favourite material so this triangle bra I’m wearing today definitely ticks all the correct boxes.
I opted to style it underneath a vibrant sheer blouse (replace it with a classic white blouse and it’s a perfect Parisian outfit), black skinny jeans, lace-up heels and my brand new addition to my handbag collection – a Saint Laurent monogram bag.
