Happy Wednesday everyone!
Welcome to my second interview today on the blog. As previously stated it’s always important to learn about new bloggers, it gives us more in-depth knowledge about the blogging community not to mention new ideas for our own blogs too! Today I’m interviewing the wonderful Yulia from Yukova design.
How did you come up with the name ‘Yukova’?
Yukova is a sum of the first to letters of my name an four last letters of my surname – Yuliya Oleynykova. I came up with a name 4 years ago, when was doing the project for my Fashion Design degree in Cambridge.
You’re a fashion designer as well as a fashion blogger, how do you maintain a good balance between both? Also tell us more about your fashion brand? Do you design the pieces yourself? Do you handmake the pieces?
I always believe, that one will find time to do everything needed, if it’s a passion of the life. I’m lucky enough to do what I love. All the Yukova Design pieces I’ve created myself, including all clothes and accessories. I truly enjoyed the process starting from research/fashion illustrations to pattern cutting and garment manufacturing.
What can my readers expect from your blog?
On my blog I post my outfits, style advice and fashion tips to help my readers to establish their personal style. In addition to this I review designer’s collections/fashion trends and events that I’d visited, as well as post interviews with brands I like. I like everything about fashion and try to cover the subject from different sides.
What aspect of blogging do you enjoy the most?
I love it all – from creating the vivid outfits to writing article until midnight 🙂
How do you promote your blog content to generate more readers?

What does Yukova Design have in store for the next 12 months?
When I started my blog almost a year ago I never thought, that it would turn into my full-time job. Seeing good results over the year, I decided to launch a new website (http://www.yukovablog.co.uk) Plans for the next year – work hard and create unique content for my readers!
If there are any bloggers or youtubers you would like me to interview for future articles, please let me know.
