Merry Christmas Everyone!
I thought I would say my season’s greetings now since I won’t be blogging on Christmas Day. I hope you’re all having a wonderful Christmas with all your special loved ones!
I’m sure you’re all fully aware how CRAZY the Boxing Day sales can be! People queuing up overnight outside their favourite stores, people fighting over discounted products, stores overfilling their maximum capacity! The list goes on and on….I personally don’t understand why people still brave the Boxing Day sales in-store when it can be done in the comfort of your own home indoors. Therefore I’ve tried my best to put together a comprehensive list of stores and what they’re offering us this year.
Amazon – they currently have a countdown to their Boxing Day sales, which starts on Christmas Day at 4pm.
Argos – The sale starts online on Christmas Day and in store on Boxing Day. Expect up to 60% discounts this year.
ASOS – they currently have a sale offering up to 50% discounts; expect further reductions on Boxing Day
Currys – their online sale starts TODAY on Christmas Eve at 7pm and in-store on Boxing Day. Expect to see up to £200 off laptops and desktops and £60 off printers.
Debenhams – their online sale starts TODAY on Christmas Eve and in-store on Boxing Day. Expect to see half priced items in Womenswear, Menswear and Kidswear.
Harrods – Probably the BIGGEST and most EXCITING sale in the entire country! The red carpet will be rolled out at the crack of dawn with customers receiving complimentary food and drink whilst queuing. The sale begins on Boxing Day at 8.30am. However, the sale will begin TODAY on Christmas Eve online.
John Lewis – their online sale starts TODAY on Christmas Eve and in-store on Boxing Day. Expect to see 30% discounts off toys and up to 50% on furniture.
Marks & Spencer – their sales starts in-store on Boxing Day, however they will apparently be revealing further information about the sale TODAY (Christmas Eve) so keep your eyes peeled.
New Look – they currently have a sale with up to 60% discounts; expect further reductions on Boxing Day.
Next – as usual Next will be offering up to 50% discounts in-store on Boxing Day. Some stores will open at 6am but others will open at 9am so make sure you check ahead.
Selfridges – expect to see up to 50% discounts on luxury products starting at 7am online and in-store at 9am on Boxing Day.
If you’re keen to get ahead of the sales this year, my advice would be to keep yours eyes peeled online today as many stores will start their sale on Christmas Eve and continue browsing on Christmas day as even more sales will be going live. Now you can spend a stress free Boxing Day doing other festive activities.
