Prepping for the Party Season

Happy Monday everyone!

So it’s the most wonderful time of year right? Everyone’s merry and joyful, not to mention a jam-packed schedule for the month. I honestly cannot think of any other time of year as busy as December. Only five days into the month and I’ve already attended four events, filmed 2 YouTube videos, met loads of new influencers and have one of many office parties tomorrow evening. With such a busy month ahead, preparation is an absolute must! That’s why I recently decided to treat myself to a Swedish massage and facial to unwind and re-energise ahead of the festive season.

I booked my treatments via Book Your Lifestyle, a new beauty website allowing you to book your favourite treatments at your favourite salons nationwide 24 hours a day. The website is user friendly, incredibly easy to use and convenient which is great if you hate making phone calls to book appointments like I do.

I visited the Aurora Wellbeing Spa located on Baker Street to indulge in a day of full relaxation. The spa is located in the basement of the Park Plaza hotel, I was directed to my treatment room filled with candles by my lovely masseuse, it felt very quaint and aromatic. We began with an hour long Swedish massage, 30 minutes on my back and 30 minutes on my front. This massage was one of the most comfortable and relaxing massages I’ve had all year. Often when I receive massages they can be quite uncomfortable for several reasons (squashed boobs) but I didn’t experience this here, in-fact it was so comfortable I even fell asleep oops! Afterwards we proceeded with the Elemis facial, using all Elemis products of course. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and nourished.

When you book treatments at the Aurora Wellbeing Spa, you also have unlimited access to the sauna, steam room, showers and even a gym! Incredible value for money!

I don’t often pamper myself but after this wonderful experience, I think I’ll aim to do it more frequently in 2017.

How will you be unwinding ahead of the festive season?

Power Dressing

Happy Monday Loves!

When I hear the phrase power dressing, I think of confident, powerful, driven individuals represented by their outfits. On first impressions I think power dressing would be perceived as formal suits, crisp shirts, pleated trousers etc. However, in my opinion this could not be further from the truth.

Authentic Italian Dining at Cacciari’s

Happy Thursday loves!

Last week Friday I discovered a brand new hidden gem located in the heart of Kensington. I honestly didn’t realise how many Italian restaurants were in London until I started blogging, however how many are truly authentic? If you’re searching for a true authentic Italian restaurant with good food and great atmosphere then look no further than Cacciari’s. Whether you’re on a first date or off for a family dinner, you’re going to love this place!

My Evening at #Ibislates

Happy Monday loves!

Two weeks ago I was invited to the Ibis London City Hotel, to watch a secret performance taking place inside the hotel. Two things I truly enjoy in this world are travelling and live music so when the two are combined it’s definitely a win win situation. This was the first of a series of secret gigs taking place at Ibis hotels across the UK, in line with the hotel chain’s partnership with the Roundhouse, Camden.
