The United Arab Emirates is such an amazing country, filled with sunshine, culture and good food. Whilst Dubai is the most well known city in the country, the UAE has many other amazing cities to visit as well. We were lucky enough to visit Abu Dhabi two days in a row. Abu Dhabi is famously known for the Sheikh Syed Mosque (one of the world’s largest mosques) and their fun attractions such as Ferrari World.
Dubai is known as the shopping mecca of The Middle East. It’s filled with hundreds of shopping centres, almost one on every street! Anything and everything is available depending on your budget – shoes, handbags, gold, silver, spices, herbs, cosmetics etc.
Beware that a lot of luxury high-end items are usually sold out as many people in the Middle East specifically visit Dubai for shopping purposes only. Also be warned that a lot of designer collections, which are sold in Europe or the US, won’t be available in the Middle East. I learnt the hard way.
Dubai has some of the most eye-catching architectural buildings in the world! There are hundreds of hotels/apartments for every budget to choose from in this wonderful city, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.
We stayed at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, a 4* star high-rise executive hotel located in downtown Dubai.
Happy Friday All!
I’m extremely sad right now as it’s my final day in Dubai! I’ve been so active this week, I think I’m going to take it easy and relax on my final day.
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are ready to start this week with a bang!
I certainly am! I have so many fun things planned for this week, including boat tours, dinner cruises, desert safari’s, shopping etc. As I said previously, I’m not one to laze around on a beach all day, I like to be active everyday whilst abroad.
